Our Mission

It is our mission to protect El Segundo from all risks. It is also our mission to be healthy participants in the community we serve by informing, supporting, and engaging residents, businesses and local organizations.

We have a vested interest in this great City and we spend over one-third of our lives here protecting its citizens, businesses and visitors. We also have the responsibility to protect each other and we rely on an adequately staffed emergency response force to do our job effectively and safely.
